Como parte de la campaña de exhibición e &#38;nbsp;impacto del documental LA VOCERA de Luciana Kaplan, llevamos a cabo la gira de exhibición comunitaria “EL CAMINAR DE LA VOCERA”La gira la diseñamos con el Congreso Nacional Indígena y los Concejales del Concejo Indígena de Gobierno, y fue operada por Ecocinema, empresa que se ocupa de exhibir cine en espacios públicos y &#38;nbsp;con energía solar. Realizamos 32 funciones en 5 rutas en 17 estados del país.

Esta comunidad tiene una larga historia de resistencia hasta tiempos bastante recientes. En Dzulá se dieron los últimos esfuerzos por mantener la independencia y estilo de vida de los mayas. La población fue tomada por el ejército en 1935, buscando atrapar al líder rebelde, el Teniente Evaristo Sulub, que consiguió escapar. Aún están vivos los nietos de aquellos que lucharon por mantener vivas sus tradiciones y su organización.

A lo largo del antiguo Camino Real que une a la ciudad de Campeche con Mérida, se ubica la Región de los Chenes, de honda resistencia cultural; y en ella se encuentra el municipio maya de Hopelchén. Las comunidades de este municipio del estado de Campeche y las que habitan esta región se han distinguido los últimos años por su fuerte rechazo a la siembra de maíz y soya transgénica en sus territorios.

Xpujil es la cabecera del municipio de Calakmul, en la parte oriental del estado de Campeche, espacio en el que se localiza la Reserva de la Biósfera del mismo nombre, una de las más importantes del país, habitada por decenas de comunidades campesinas migrantes de diverso origen lingüístico y cultural que han organizado sus luchas y sus resistencias a través del Consejo Regional Indígena y Popular de Xpujil. Actualmente esta organización encabeza una de las más destacadas luchas en contra del megaproyecto denominado Tren Maya, en contra del cual ha interpuesto juicios de amparo que han frenado, por el momento, tan devastador proyecto.

Desde los años 70 del siglo pasado el Ejido chol de Tila, cabecera del municipio que lleva su nombre, en el estado de Chiapas, ha desarrollado una emblemática lucha en defensa de sus tierras de las que han pretendido despojarlo los gobiernos municipal y estatal. Esta lucha por la tierra lo llevó a expulsar, hace un lustro, al ayuntamiento oficial y a desarrollar un verdadero autogobierno municipal sustentado en la asamblea del pueblo, en las autoridades agrarias y en la costumbre propia.

La comunidad zoque de San Miguel Chimalapas se localiza en la estratégica zona selvática conocida como Los Chimalapas, principal reserva de agua del país, al sur del estado de Oaxaca, en la región del Istmo; junto con la comunidad de Santa María Chimalapas sostiene una añeja lucha en contra de numerosas y sucesivas invasiones a sus tierras desde Chiapas y desde las planicies del Istmo. En los últimos años esta comunidad se ha enfrentado con valentía a la nueva amenaza que representan para su territorio las concesiones mineras que el gobierno federal ha otorgado a empresas trasnacionales para la extracción de oro y otros minerales.

La Colonia Alvaro Obregon, o Guixhi’roo en la lengua propia, es una comunidad binnizá localizada en el municipio de Juchitán, Oaxaca. En su origen fue formada por veteranos de la Revolución en uno de los primeros repartos de tierras de la región, siendo emblemática su lucha en la defensa del territorio y la autonomía.
